NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK CELEBRATION

The ILA (Indian Library Association) declared 14-20 November has been celebrated as National Library Week all over India Since 1968 and various programmes are organized to let the public know about the libraries.

भारत में प्रत्येक वर्ष 14 से 20 नवंबर तक राष्ट्रीय पुस्तकालय सप्ताह मनाया जाता है। पुस्तकालय केन्द्रीय विद्यालय क्रमांक 2 जयपुर कैंट विधार्थिओ के लिये कुछ कार्यक्रम आयोजित कर रहा है जिनका विवरण निचे दिया जा रहा है  विधार्थी उनकों पूरा करके 22 नवंबर 2021 तक पुस्तकालय की ईमेल पर भेज सकते है !

The Theme for National Library Week 2021 is as follows

"Welcome to Your Library" promotes the idea that libraries extend far beyond for four walls of a building and that everyone is welcome to use their services.

School Library Association-India celebrates National Library Week in November 2021 and announces a national level online competition Ignite, Imagine, Inspire for school students . The contest aims at developing imagination, creativity, and scientific temper through reading selected stories and completing the given tasks.

15.11.2021	Book Jacket Design Contest	Class VI to VIII	1. Draw the Jacket cover page of a story Book, Take a photograph and upload 2. Students are requested to rename the file name with your name class & section before uploading. 3. Take a selfie with your activities.
16.11.2021	Essay Writing Topic –Role of  Libraries in School Education	Class IX to XII	1.  Essay for Secondary (IX- X) and        Sr. Secondary (XI – XII). 2.   World limit is 400 words. 3.   Can write in Hindi or English. 4.   Student should write their name and Class on essay. 5.  Submit your essay on this link  https://forms.gle/jthas9XHMoXkVjZ2A
17.11.2021	Reading selfie  contest	Class VI to XII	Do you love Reading Books? If yes, show it to world. Take a reading selfie.
18.11.2021	Audio Story Contest	Class IV to VIII	1.   Select a story on public domain. 2.   Perform and record audio/video.
19.11.2021	Poster Making regarding Library Activities	Class VI to XII	1. Draw a colourful poster on the given and upload. 2.  Take a selfie with your activities. 3. Students are requested to rename the file name with class & section before uploading.
20.11.2021	Literary Quiz	Staff and Students	Play the quiz on 20 November 2021 at 11.00 a.m.  and get a digital certificate b y Library KV No 2 Jaipur Cantt.
